How do you find clothes for a nine year old who is already in junior sizes?

She’s exceptionally tall, so the kids sizes don’t fit anymore. But so much of junior clothing is either too mature or made for a body with curves, which she doesn’t have yet. Anyone know where to shop?

Well, I was 11 when I started shopping in the juniors section.
Good places to go are Wal Mart, Target, or the junior department of department stores (Macy’s, Dillard’s, etc) as opposed to boutiques. You don’t have to get her clothes that have the playboy bunny on it or something, they usually have some stuff that would look fine on a little kid if it was sized down.
Anchor Blue and Pac Sun are two stores that tend to have fun, cool, non-slutty clothes for middle and high schoolers. She might like these places. American Eagle and Aeropostale might work as well.
I would talk to a salesperson to get her fitted. There are plenty of slimhipped, flatchested women and teenagers out there who make do – they can help you out.
Good luck!

Places like Justice or Limited 2 have clothes for kids and they have jounier sizes too. I remember when i was little and shopped their. i was also always tall for my age and kids clothes were always too short.

That’s definitely a tough one. You’ll probably be able to find some longer kids clothes online, or she could try a size 0 or even 00 in juniors (Which they don’t sell in a lot of stores).
